Longform was never something we could really get our heads around. There’s so much about television… it’s a different paradigm. And not to be sort of shitty about it, but you can look at stories: they have a beginning, a middle, and an end. But so much of television is kind of beginning, and middle, and middle, and middle, and middle, until the whole thing dies of exhaustion. It’s been beaten to death, and then you figure out a way of ending it.
